Ad 2 Tampa Bay

Is a not-for-profit chapter of the American Advertising Federation dedicated to the development of young advertising professionals and their community through volunteerism, mentorship, and creative advertising.

That’s me, near the center, in the gray and white.

“What do you do when you’re not working?”

For most of my twenties my answer was: “More work. But not, like, work-work. More like work-your-heart-out-work. After hours, totally volunteer work with some of the most talented, hard working, and compassionate people that the Tampa ad industry has ever created. Work that helps young advertisers. Work that is maybe hamstringing my ability to have a functional dating life, but I’ll work on that later because the work I’m doing right now just helped launch a pro bono campaign for a local nonprofit dedicated to providing aid and shelter to displaced mothers that desperately needed some visibility and support.” That kind of work.

It changed my life, and showed me advertising’s capacity to create positive change in the world.
